Duties
- Greet customers warmly in both English and Spanish, establishing rapport and understanding their needs
- Assist customers with selecting mobile devices, accessories, and service plans tailored to their preferences
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits of various devices and plans
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance customer satisfaction and meet sales goals
- Operate cash registers accurately, handling retail sales transactions, cash handling, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the store is clean, well-merchandised, and inviting for shoppers
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions about products, plans, billing issues, or technical support
- Maintain knowledge of retail store product inventory and merchandising standards to optimize sales opportunities
- Follow phone etiquette standards when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking supplies and managing retail math calculations for accurate stock levels
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred; grocery store experience is a plus but not required
- Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish are essential for effective bilingual customer interactions
- Demonstrated ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management
- Experience in merchandising or product demos helps enhance customer engagement and sales success
- Knowledge of phone etiquette, cashiering procedures, and basic math skills ensures smooth store operations
