Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Construction Senior Draftsperson to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive construction drawings and schematics for commercial building projects using CAD software such as AutoCAD.
- 5 Years Experience at a minimum.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design concepts into detailed technical plans.
- Prepare detailed system design documents covering mechanical, electrical, and structural components for construction purposes.
- Review and refine drawings to ensure adherence to building codes, safety standards, and client specifications.
- Incorporate graphic design principles and 2D animation techniques where applicable to enhance presentation clarity.
- Assist in the development of interior design layouts and mechanical designs that align with project requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Draftsperson specializing in commercial construction projects with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical proficiency.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks; familiarity with SketchUp, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of schematics creation, system design processes, and construction documentation standards.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience with 2D animation is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret architectural plans and translate them into precise technical drawings efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- A background in interior or mechanical design is a plus; relevant certifications or training are preferred.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
