Duties
- Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes.
- Perform repairs on appliances such as electrical components, and mechanical parts.
- Utilize electrical experience and equipment repair skills to troubleshoot complex problems accurately.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams for precise repairs.
- Conduct field service visits to customer locations, ensuring timely and professional service delivery.
- Assemble or replace appliance components and parts with attention to detail.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each service call.
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to read schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals effectively.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, and equipment repair.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or with box trucks is a plus for transporting parts or equipment.
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions and build customer trust.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with electrical experience for troubleshooting diverse appliance issues.
- Field service experience preferred; ability to work independently in various environments.
