About the Role
CanKnowPiano connects qualified piano teachers with students seeking lessons. We are looking for experienced instructors to take on new students in their area or online. You set your own rates, schedule, and lesson format, and work directly with students and families.
Responsibilities
Teach piano lessons to students of varying ages and levels, communicate professionally and reliably with students and parents, and manage your own scheduling and lesson structure.
Requirements
Prior piano teaching experience at any level, and a suitable teaching setup — home studio, willingness to travel to students, or the ability to teach online.
Compensation
Teachers set their own rates; most charge $50–$100 per hour depending on experience, location, and format. A one-time placement fee applies to the first lesson with each new student. After that, students book and pay you directly, with no ongoing commissions or revenue share.
