Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain solutions provider, is looking for a Pallet Repair Operator to join their team in Schenectady, NY. This role is responsible for inspecting, sorting, and repairing pallets to meet industry specifications in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and inspect pallets by lifting them onto a worktable and examining all sides.
- Repair damaged pallets using tools such as pneumatic nailers, reciprocating saws, and angle grinders.
- Ensure all pallets meet certain specifications before leaving the workstation.
- Restock materials and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited high school or General Education Development (GED)
- Ability to memorize and apply specific pallet specifications.
- Prior forklift experience
- Prior experience in warehouse or production environments is a plus.
- Lift and move 65 lb pallets repeatedly.
Pay & Schedule:
- $17.00
- Monday - Friday - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
