Paramount Assets is a property management company based in New Jersey, with a real estate portfolio of commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties located mainly in urban areas of NJ. We are looking for a dynamic, high energy polished Commercial Property Manager to manage a 150,000 Square foot office building in Downtown Newark.
Responsibilities:
1. Experience (Minimum of 5 years) with commercial / office buildings with a strong facilities background.
2. People Management experience required in dealing with governmental agencies, and non-profits; Must have a professional demeanor and polished attituded
3. Proactive and thorough person with an emphasis on quality of product and curb appeal
4. Responsible for rent collection process
5. General maintenance & mechanical knowledge a must
6. Manage janitorial and security operations at the property
7. 24/7 Availability for emergency response –
8. Responsible for day-to-day operations including maintenance work orders, routine preventative maintenance, and vendor service calls
9. Excellent communication, problem solving skills, strong tenant relations skills and creative thinking a must.
10. Must be capable to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
11. Report and advise the property activity to the regional manager
12. Handle any emergency that arises at your assigned property
13. Complete periodic inspections of building and follow‐up on maintenance work
14. Proficient in Yardi, Excel, Word
15. Communicate effectively with all levels of management
16. Maintain a positive line of communication with lessee’s and employees
17. Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, brokers, and professionals
18. Represent Company, when necessary, at legal proceedings
19. Review and approve invoices for payment using GL codes
Starting Salary ~ $65-70K, but negotiable based upon experience
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
