Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales recording.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Ensure responsible serving practices by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to promote guest safety.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods for seamless food service during banquets or nightclub events.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in retail math calculations for tips, tabs, and change.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining settings, nightclubs, or banquet environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and sales calculations are essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively while managing multiple orders efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume service periods.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly, including checking IDs and recognizing intoxication signs.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as catering or large banquets.
