Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments
- Preparing specialty coffee drinks of the very highest quality, as well as teas and other beverages
- Maintain coffee knowledge on current offerings and clearly communicate product information to customers
- Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils
- Learning about brewing methods, beverage recipes, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality
- Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter
- Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls
Requirements:
- We are looking for both part-time and full-time position, working 3-4 days a week
- Must be passionate about the food & beverage industry and have basic math knowledge
- Extensive training and willingness to pursue excellence in learning about drink preparation and food offerings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a team setting
- Minimum 1-year barista experience preferred
- Must have a food safety card within 7 days after hire
- We have several shifts available. We'll talk more in detail during the interview!
