Operate and set up die casting machines to produce quality parts safely and efficiently. You’ll be the hands-on expert who ensures dies, parameters, and auxiliary equipment align to spec—every run, every shift.

- Shift: 3rd Shift — Sunday 11:00 p.m. start through Friday 7:00 a.m. end (11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.)

- Check die condition and perform visual inspections on parts to confirm quality.
- Remove and install die casting dies; make machine adjustments to meet production standards.
- Complete machine setups; before pressing start, ensure your setup is reviewed by a Supervisor or Group Leader.
- Assist maintenance with repairs as directed to keep lines running.
- Set up and, when required, operate auxiliary equipment: ladle, auto-spray, robotics, and trim press.
- Adhere to gauging/part check procedures on the specified timeline.
- Follow verbal instructions and Process Sheets to deliver safe, high-quality output.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma a plus.
- At least 1 year in a die casting environment.
- Standing work with walking, bending, and stooping; heavier handling may occur during setup.
- Lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying: 5 lbs. constantly, 35 lbs. frequently, 75 lbs. occasionally.
- Work around hazards such as serious cuts, burns, bruises, and potential permanent injury—goggles and heavy gloves are mandatory. Attentive work practices reduce risk.
- Expect heat, dirt, grease, fumes, and noise above 85 dB (hearing protection required when exposure exceeds 85 dB).
- Use small hand tools (wrenches, mallet, chisel, screwdrivers) and hoists/lift or hand trucks to move/install dies.
- Comfort taking verbal instruction from a supervisor.
