About the Role
Auoria Contracting LLC is hiring an experienced and dependable Appliance Delivery Driver/Installer. This role is responsible for safely transporting, delivering, and installing household appliances for residential and commercial customers. Travel throughout North Carolina and South Carolina is required. Per diem and hotel expenses are fully covered by Auoria.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and install household appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, etc.)
- Load, secure, and unload appliances safely
- Operate company vehicles for regional deliveries
- Perform basic installation and ensure products are functioning properly
- Complete delivery logs, inspection reports, and customer confirmations
- Communicate professionally with customers and resolve basic on-site issues
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Follow all company safety standards and applicable DOT guidelines
- Work with dispatch to ensure accurate routes and schedules
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift and move 100–300 lbs with proper equipment/team assistance
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must be willing to travel regularly throughout NC and SC
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Preferred (Not Required)
- DOT Medical Card or prior DOT experience
- Experience with appliance delivery or installation
- Experience in logistics, moving, or construction fields
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic appliance installation procedures
