Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Painter to join our painting team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly through sanding, scraping, plastering, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paint using various methods including hand tools, conventional spray equipment, and airless paint sprayers for efficient coverage.
- Perform construction site tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, and fixture installation as needed.
- Conduct surface repairs and restoration work on existing structures to meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Follow all safety protocols including proper use of respiratory protection, harnesses, and adherence to OSHA guidelines during all phases of work.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects.
- Skilled in surface preparation methods such as sanding, plastering, caulking, and masonry work; familiar with renovation processes.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, spray equipment (including airless sprayers), and scaffolding setup.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction painting including respiratory protection and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Additional skills in carpentry (trim framing), concrete finishing, masonry work, fixture installation, or handyman experience are highly desirable.
