Cashier / Barista – Lofty Pops Seasonal Poptender

Lofty Pops is looking for energetic, reliable, and outgoing team members to join our summer/fall crew for the remainder of the season! We operate fun, fast-paced ice pop stands serving handcrafted pops to guests throughout the season at locations within the Detroit Zoo.
If you enjoy talking with people, staying busy, and creating positive guest experiences, we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly and upbeat attitude
- Serve Lofty Pops products efficiently and accurately
- Handle card transactions through POS systems
- Keep the stand clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Represent the Lofty Pops brand professionally and positively
Qualifications
- Punctual, dependable, and responsible
- Comfortable interacting with customers
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude
- Weekend availability is required
- Ability to work outdoors and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Previous cashier, café, barista, food service, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule
- Fridays-Sundays, 9:30am-5:30pm
- Flexible seasonal scheduling available
- Summer-Fall employment (concluding at the end of September) with opportunities for continued seasonal work
