Leading environmental air testing firm is seeking an entry-level Field Service Technician. Insurance provided by company after a waiting period. The qualified candidate will work with the project leaders to conduct air emissions testing of exhaust stacks at industrial plants. The candidate will be trained to perform EPA test methods, aid in the preparation of equipment, and assist with data entry and test report preparation. Travel is throughout the southeastern US, with occasional national and international projects. The majority of travel is in-state or local, including some overnight travel. This position is with a stable, growing, 47-year-old privately-owned firm. All travel expenses paid, with a good base salary and incentives for each project.
Qualifications:
BS in Environmental Sciences or related fields desired, but not required
Ex-military and/or electronics background also of interest
Microsoft Word & Excel experience
Must be able & willing to work outdoors throughout the year
Occasional lifting (up to 70 lbs) required
Must be willing to relocate to the Marietta, Georgia area
Valid driver's license without major moving violations
Pre-employment drug screening required
Background checks required for many on-site projects
