Lucky's Classic is a Classic All American Restaurant. We have been in business for 20 years and we are located in the heart of downtown Stamford, Connecticut.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-energy atmosphere. Previous experience as a server or wait staff is required (1 year min.)
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments using cash registers or POS systems, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Previous experience as a server or wait staff is required (1 year min.)
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling safety practices.
- Proficient in using POS system
- Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash register operations.
