Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques, fabrication, and blueprint reading, with a strong understanding of construction and mechanical processes. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring precision welding and fabrication skills in a dynamic environment. Candidates should possess a solid foundation in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as plasma cutters and press brake machines. A background in construction site work, manufacturing, or related fields is highly desirable. The position is essential for ensuring the quality and safety of welded components used across multiple industries.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and <LOCATION> welding to fabricate and repair metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
- Utilize calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Execute pipe threading, sheet metal fabrication, ductwork assembly, and mechanical assembly tasks as needed.
- Conduct rigging operations using cranes or forklifts for material handling and positioning.
- Follow ASME codes & standards to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
- Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols during welding and fabrication processes.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving machining, soldering, or assembly tasks.
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment or materials during the welding process to maintain workflow efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site welding or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), plasma cutting, and other welding techniques.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to fabrication projects.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, machining equipment, and rigging gear safely.
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to welding practices.
- Mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, sheet metal work, ductwork installation, and assembly processes.
- Experience working with schematics for complex fabrication or construction projects is advantageous.

Pay: $19.00 - $26.50 per hour
