TalentLogistiX is seeking experienced MIG / TIG Stainless Steel Welders for a growing fabrication shop in Indianapolis. We are looking for dependable welders with strong fabrication skills and experience working with stainless steel and aluminum in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in producing high-quality welds, reading blueprints, and fabricating precision components from start to finish.
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with possible OT and/or Saturdays
Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 / Depending on Experience
Contract: Contract to Hire
MIG / TIG Stainless Steel Welders Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel materials
- Fabricate metal components according to blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Measure, cut, fit, grind, and assemble materials for welding
- Weld thin and thick gauge materials while maintaining quality standards
- Inspect completed welds for strength, accuracy, and appearance
- Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, drill presses, and other shop tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards
- Work independently and as part of a production team to meet deadlines
MIG / TIG Stainless Steel Welders Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional welding and fabrication experience
- Experience with: MIG Welding, TIG Welding, Stick Welding, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Metal Fabrication
- Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and tape measurements
- Experience using fabrication tools and shop equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Ability to pass a weld test
