We are currently looking to grow our fleet, and want to add a flexible local driver to our team. As a Class A CDL Shuttle Driver for JR’s Expedited Freight, you will be responsible for moving trailers and freight between local facilities, yards, and customer locations. This role ensures the efficient transfer of goods within a specified area, making it vital to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations. The Shuttle Driver will work primarily within a the Tri-State area, providing a consistent schedule and home time daily.
Pay: Competitive hourly pay and eligibility for quarterly performance bonus after your first quarter, OT after 40 hours.
Hours: 11 AM to 11 PM Monday through Friday
Equipment: Manual: Kenworths, Internationals, and Western Stars. Must be able to drive a manual truck, no automatic restrictions.
Operating area: Shuttle drop hook loads primarily in the Evansville area, and occasionally making runs intrastate within a 250-mile radius around the Tri-State area.

Job Requirements:
- 6 months Class A CDL Experience
- Clean Driving Record
- Not Cited for a D.O.T defined accident in the previous three year
- No automatic restriction.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Class A CDL Certification: Must have a valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
- Experience: At least 6 months of Class A CDL driving experience, preferably with shuttle or yard experience.
- Safety-Oriented: Strong understanding of DOT regulations and commitment to safety on the road and in the yard.
- Time Management: Ability to adhere to tight schedules and complete shuttles efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure all cargo is safely secured and records are accurately maintained.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with dispatchers, yard personnel, and customers.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical tasks, such as assisting with loading and unloading as needed.
Pay: $24.00 per hour
