Field Operations Manager – Utility Metering

A growing utility installation company is seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to lead a team supporting a major Commercial Gas Meter Installation project in Houston, TX.
This is a great opportunity for someone with gas, water, or electric metering experience who has strong leadership skills and enjoys working in the field.
The Opportunity
- Primary project: Houston, TX – Gas Metering
- Lead and supervise field installation technicians
- Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and daily field operations
- Train, coach, and motivate technicians
- Inspect completed work and ensure procedures are followed
- Maintain field reports and inspection records
- Investigate field issues and implement corrective actions
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of utility metering experience — Gas, Water, OR Electric
- 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience
- Commercial utility experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependable, hardworking, trustworthy, and motivated
- Comfortable working in a field-based environment
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Relocation is NOT required, but candidates open to relocation are a major plus.
