Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Janitor to join our team. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring that the facilities are well-kept and safe for all occupants.
Duties
- Daily Cleaning of all front office and plant bathrooms, including mopping floors, cleaning toilets/Urinals and sinks
- Daily cleaning of cafeteria floors, counters and sinks
- Monthly cleaning of refrigerators
- Daily vacuuming of front office entrances from plant
- Daily trash emptying of common area trash cans, as well as plant floor receptacles.. --- Disposing of waste in compactor
- Occasional outdoor maintenance, including shoveling snow from walkway entrances and applying salt. Parking lot/Landscaping debris cleanup
Hilo experience or a desire to be trained and obtain hilo license.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and vacuums
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness
- Good physical health to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
