Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sushi dishes with precision, artistry, and consistency according to established recipes and standards
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring smooth shift operations and high-quality food production
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste through effective stock control
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation procedures across all kitchen activities
- Collaborate with the menu planning team to develop innovative sushi offerings that appeal to diverse tastes
- Oversee food handling, storage, and preparation processes to ensure compliance with health standards

Skills
- Extensive culinary experience with a focus on sushi preparation and Japanese cuisine
- Proven supervising or team management experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and dietary department practices
- Skilled in inventory management, food production, and kitchen management techniques
