- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good math, language, and reading skills
- Basic computer skills may be required
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury and promote a safe work environment
- Ability to follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
- Complete assignments accurately, safely, and on time
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- May be required to use an RF scanner gun
- Clean driving record and valid state driver’s license may be required
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards
- Obtain a copy of the production schedule or shipping order
- Transport materials or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility
- Provide raw or WHIP stock to production machines according to the schedule
- Load and unload goods from vehicles
- Move goods packed on pallets or slip sheets around the storage facility
- Stack goods in the correct storage bays following inventory control instructions
- Check that loads are secure
- Perform daily forklift equipment checks per OSHA guidelines
- Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines
- Examine products to verify they meet quality standards
- Dump materials into machine hoppers
