Job Title: Wire Cutter
Pay: $18/hr
Shift: 11AM-8PM Monday-Friday (weekends as needed)
Job Summary: The Wire Cutter is responsible for measuring, cutting, labeling, and preparing wire and cable products according to customer specifications or production requirements. This role ensures accuracy, quality, and compliance with safety standards while maintaining inventory and supporting manufacturing or warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and cut wire and cable to specified lengths using manual or automated cutting equipment.
- Inspect wire and cable for defects before and after cutting.
- Label, package, and prepare completed orders for production or shipment.
- Verify part numbers, measurements and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain inventory of wire and cable materials.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment.
- Report equipment malfunctions or material shortages to supervisors.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
