Position Overview
This position is part of a HUD Section 3 project, and at this time, we are collecting applications as part of our ongoing outreach and future workforce planning efforts. Your information will remain on file and may be reviewed for considerations as future opportunities become available on this and other Section 3 projects.
Hands on work for a general laborer construction project for the 53rd Street Park Improvements located at 5330 Raytown Rd, Raytown, MO 64133.
This position supports a HUD-Funded project subject to Section 3 hiring and reporting requirements. Individuals meeting the HUD low-income housing limit ($43,900 annually for the Raytown area), public housing residents, or YouthBuild participants are strongly encouraged to apply.
Note: This is a HUD Section 3 project. Individuals meeting Section 3 income or residency criteria will receive priority consideration in accordance with federal guidelines.
Work Duties:
- General Construction Laboring
- Operating hand and power tools safely
- Maintaining a clean, organized job site
- Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements
- Work in a team environment
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid driver's license and I-9 verification documents
- Reliable transportation and steel toe boots
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
- Positive attitude and team mentality
