As an Occupational Therapist, you'll play a critical role in helping residents regain independence, improve quality of life, and achieve their highest level of function.
Evaluating residents and developing individualized treatment plans
Implementing evidence-based interventions to maximize independence
Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
Completing accurate and timely documentation
Supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants
Participating in interdisciplinary care planning
Collaborating with nursing, therapy, and medical teams
Supporting departmental quality initiatives and resident-centered programs
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current New York State Occupational Therapist License
Long-term care or rehabilitation experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
