Our Coos Bay, Oregon, office is looking to add a CAD Drafter. Working on both Coos Bay projects and others company-wide, the CAD Drafter will create civil, environmental, and geotechnical project drawings from schematic design to construction documents while upholding SHN’s CAD standards. They will provide technical support to engineering group for Autodesk Civil 3D software troubleshooting, and problem solving. And they will join a great group of professionals who value team work and a strong work/life balance.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Starting wage range is $25 to $35 per hour, depending on experience

What are the minimum qualifications?
Education and Experience: Minimum of 1-year of professional experience with CAD and a valid drivers’ license with satisfactory driving clearance
Demonstratable Skills and Abilities:
- A team player. SHN strongly values high functioning teams and collaboration
- Ability to learn, adhere to, and consistently uphold SHN’s CAD Standards
- Familiarity/comfort working with computers
- Technically minded and detail oriented
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret a variety of technical data
- Motivated to continually develop and enhance skills/knowledge
- Ability to work independently and with other design professionals
- Capable of handling multiple projects efficiently
- Willingness and ability to travel to other SHN regions and offices
What additional knowledge and experience would make me a great candidate? An Associate’s degree in Drafting/Design Technology field
