Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Gastroenterology and Digestive Health - $145,000-$180,000 based on experience

A well-established outpatient digestive healthcare practice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide gastroenterology and digestive healthcare. This role centers on evaluating patients, managing follow-up care, providing education, and coordinating diagnostic plans in a busy, patient-focused outpatient setting.
The incoming APP will work collaboratively with experienced physicians while building strong relationships with adults who need digestive-healthcare services. Candidates with gastroenterology experience are preferred; clinicians with strong adult internal medicine or primary-care diagnostic skills are also encouraged to apply.
Core Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage adult patients with gastrointestinal symptoms and chronic digestive conditions.
- Conduct new-patient and follow-up visits, review results, reconcile medications, and provide clear patient education.
- Coordinate diagnostic workups, referrals, and appropriate pre- and post-procedure follow-up.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a responsive outpatient patient experience.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and a current, unrestricted California license.
- Clinical experience in gastroenterology, digestive health, adult internal medicine, or primary care.
- Strong assessment, communication, and follow-up skills, with a patient-centered approach to outpatient care.
- Any procedure-related duties require formal training, credentials, and applicable facility privileges.
Compensation and Benefits
The employer has discussed a competitive, experience-based package, including an estimated $145,000–$180,000 base salary,
