The Role
This is a physically active, all-weather role conducting routes across northern and central New Jersey. We are looking for a dedicated team member who is interested in long-term growth; this position offers the potential opportunity to be promoted to a full-time Driver role, which includes a pay increase.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support: Assist in the efficient, safe operation of our pick-up trucks and trailer combinations.
Materials Handling: Maneuver wheeled bins weighing up to 300 lbs.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate hydraulic equipment, including dump trailers and cart tippers.
Safety First: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations.
Collaboration: Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
Documentation: Clean driving record and a valid Driver’s License.
Reliability: Ability to pass a drug test and reliable transportation to/from our base.
Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Mindset: You enjoy physical work and are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Benefits & Schedule
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift. Typically between the hours of 7-3PM, 9-5PM, (up to the crew). You may be asked to work around 20-30 hours a week for now, or more if you're interested and available.
Benefits: Paid sick time (40hrs), paid federal holidays, and a uniform allowance.
Growth: Excellent opportunity for advancement, with the potential to be promoted to a full-time Driver role in the near future as our company expands.
