Overall Description
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Baker who is able to provide consistence production performance in an efficient and professional manner and is willing to learn and grow with us. A baker that takes pride in quality and thrives to serve excellent product to every guest.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately scale, mix, and bake various baked goods including, but not limited to muffins, cookies, cakes, pies, glazes, biscuits, scones, and breads according to provided recipes and instructions.
- Follow quality control measurements and communicates with the bakery management when questions or concerns arise.
- Follow established operational procedures and communicates with bakery management when questions or concerns arise.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of work station and entire kitchen on a day-to-day basis.
- Strictly adheres to health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices, to guarantee a clean and safe work environment.
- Provides excellent customer service and communicated with the guests as needed.
- Reports to bakery management.
Requirements:
- Professional baking experience.
- Culinary/baking education (preferable).
- Strong sense of urgency.
- Strong communication skills.
- Time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to focus.
- Ability to work independently and with other team members.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
- Ability to work on a hot environment; ability to walk, stand and bend for extended periods of time.
- Flexible availability, including weekend, holidays, early mornings, and afternoons.
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
