Certified Medical Assistant
Prima Medicine is growing and we are seeking a versatile and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our primary care and endocrinology services. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and be passionate about providing quality patient care, and who live locally in Northern VA, to join our team of professionals.
Job requirements:
- 5 years+ Experience and Training as a Medical Assistant with proven ability.
- Superior work ethic
- MUST possess critical thinking skills and exhibits confidence in taking initiative
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are a MUST!!!
- Personable, presentable and outgoing
- Must be willing to be cross-trained
- EMR and Computer proficiency are required.
- Endocrinology and Primary patient care experience.
- Venipuncture experience.
- Athena EMR experience will secure you an interview!
- References are required (former supervisors)
- A background check will be performed

- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
