Join our dedicated team as a Housekeeper in a busy Medical Office Building, where cleanliness, sanitation, and a welcoming environment are essential to patient care and staff efficiency. In this vital role, you'll ensure that all areas—patient rooms, exam rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces—are spotless, sanitized, and maintained to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to environmental services will contribute directly to a safe and healthy healthcare setting for everyone who walks through our doors.
- Job is in the evening from about 5:00pm --8-9pm, Mon- Fri
- Must have a clean background.
- Must have dependable transportation to and from work.
- Must be hard worker, honest and dependable
- Able to work as a team member.
- Must have previous housekeeping experience
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and disinfecting of patient care areas, restrooms, hallways, offices, and public spaces in accordance with healthcare sanitation protocols.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures in pristine condition.
- Conduct routine environmental services tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care including sweeping
- Ensure all cleaning practices promote infection control standards specific to healthcare environments.
Skills
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in healthcare or commercial settings with knowledge of hospital sanitation protocols.
- Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting maintenance issues.
- Experience with hospital or medical office building environments is highly preferred for understanding specialized sanitation requirements.
