Successful and growing construction company looking for the next member of our team who understands and is capable of hauling mid size & small machinery, equipment, construction materials, on Dovetail, side dump and belly dump. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency with loading and chaining down equipment and materials. Applicants will need a CDL with at least 2 year of tractor trailer experience. Must have excellent problem solving, safety skills, daily hauling and maintenance activities for your truck, track its mechanical performance, and follow processes of any necessary repairs.
Additionally, the ideal applicant would be able to responsibly run various types of heavy equipment, such as a roller, loader, water truck, tractor, and skid steer, etc.
This position occasionally hauls equipment out of town/state - usually a 1 day trip and not often. Please ask for further details.

CDL Driver Duties
- Daily transport duties with belly-dump, side-dump trailers, flatbed dovetail trailer
- Ability to perform maintenance procedures and operations pertaining to your truck and ensure machinery under your responsibility is up to working standards at all times.
- Record and track daily progress/error reports – including fuel, mileage, and Inspections for all current regulations.
- Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to state/federal laws and company protocol.
- Perform administrative computer tasks as needed (Daily E-Logs on Samsara app).
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
A valid Commercial Driver’s License with good MVR
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and other physical requirements, such as pushing, pulling, bending and climbing in and out of the truck.
Must be able to chain or strap loads and various types of equipment and
work independently
