This position is based in the Charlotte region and requires travel to various locations to perform equipment maintenance.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining equipment, building materials, systems for the job sites, and installation of new car wash equipment.

Maintain cleanliness of inbay heaters

Responsible for repairing damage garage doors and inside lighting

Maintain outside appearance of locations through pressure washing

Partner closely with operations to address maintenance needs as they align with business and production

Assist in the installation of new car wash equipment

Disassemble broken or defective equipment to facilitate repair and reassemble when repairs are complete

Examine and test machinery, equipment, components, and parts for defects to ensure proper functioning

Diagnose electrical problems and install and rewire electrical components

Inspect electrical or electronic systems for defects and repair electrical components
-
Diagnose plumbing issues and perform the necessary repairs

Contribute to the electrical, plumbing, and equipment install teams in the installation and construction of various carwash facilities

Install motors, compressors and pump equipment wiring to meet specifications

Install carwash equipment with high and low voltage circuits

All other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in maintenance or general contractor charged with general maintenance

Ability to communicate effectively in English

Valid driver’s license with a clear record

Broad knowledge of repairs

Knowledge of the car wash operations

Ability to commute between locations daily

Must submit to and pass preemployment tests including but not limited to drug test, background check, reference checks, and MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)

2+ years’ experience with electrical or mechanical skill set
-
Specialty experience require proof of a license

Ability to read building and construction blueprints and schematics

Adept at small equipment maintenance and repair

OSHA certified

This position requires the ability to move between locations, therefore the ability to drive daily, as well as pass a quarterly Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) is a requirement of this position

Operate and work on equipment and work with toxic chemicals and waste

This position may require lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted and 100 pounds with assistance

This position will work in the field being exposed to all weather elements

Hours of work include, but are not limited to, the hours of operation; 7 days a week, 7:30am9pm

Typical corporate work hours are Monday thru Friday 8am5pm

Must be able to work after business hours to perform maintenance on car wash equipment
