Our Design Consultants meet with homeowners through company-provided, pre-qualified appointments and guide customers through one of the most important investments they can make in their home.

What You'll Do
As an In-Home Design Consultant, you'll meet directly with homeowners to understand their goals, evaluate their project needs, and provide customized solutions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting professional in-home consultations
- Building trust and rapport with homeowners
- Educating customers about Renewal by Andersen products and services
- Measuring windows and doors accurately
- Presenting customized design solutions
- Preparing and presenting project estimates
- Following up on proposals and pending opportunities
- Generating referrals from satisfied customers
- Managing customer interactions and sales activity within company systems
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences

QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in sales, customer-facing, or relationship-driven roles
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Evening and weekend appointment availability
- Ability to independently manage a schedule and territory
Preferred
- Outside sales experience
- In-home sales experience
- Home improvement experience
- Bachelor's degree
Physical Requirements
This role may require:
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
- Climbing stairs
- Measuring windows and doors throughout residential properties
- Occasional lifting of materials up to 55 pounds
- Operating a personal vehicle throughout your assigned territory
