Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Temporary Inventory Specialist with Clover POS experience to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing inventory processes, optimizing supply chain operations, and ensuring accurate stock levels across multiple platforms. Your expertise will help streamline procurement, enhance warehouse management, and support data-driven decision-making to improve overall efficiency. Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory control processes, including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution using inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Utilize Clover POS systems to monitor sales data, track inventory movement, and support order fulfillment activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and implement process improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to optimize purchasing strategies and negotiate supplier terms for better pricing and delivery performance.
- Analyze supply chain data using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Excel data analysis to identify trends, forecast demand, and support demand planning initiatives.
- Manage logistics operations including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and warehouse distribution to ensure timely stock availability.
- Support category management efforts by analyzing merchandising performance and recommending inventory adjustments based on data insights.
- Assist in warehouse operations by coordinating materials handling activities such as heavy lifting, order fulfillment, and shipping logistics.
Skills
- Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
- Strong technical proficiency with ERP systems (such as AS400), warehouse management systems, and inventory management software.
- Advanced data analytics skills including data mining, visualization (Power BI, Tableau), and Excel data analysis for actionable insights.
- Proven negotiation skills with suppliers and vendors to optimize procurement costs and delivery schedules.
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as root cause analysis and category management strategies.
- Familiarity with logistics inventory management, demand planning, materials handling, and production planning processes.
- Ability to perform financial analysis related to pricing models, financial modeling, and supply chain analytics.
- Physical capability for materials handling tasks including heavy lifting as needed for shipping & receiving activities.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills to coordinate with procurement, warehouse teams, logistics providers, and other stakeholders effectively.
