Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Staff Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards and medical terminology.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to review patient medication plans, monitor drug interactions, and report on patient conditions.
- Provide health education to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and lifestyle modifications to promote wellness.
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and manage medical documentation with precision and confidentiality.
- Assist in blood sampling procedures, CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS), and manual handling tasks within clinical settings such as surgery or plastic surgery units.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other clinicians to coordinate patient care plans and report on patient status.
- Support diagnostic radiology teams by understanding medical terminology related to imaging procedures and assisting with medication management as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Prior experience in acute care environments or clinics is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently.
- Critical care experience preferred, with familiarity in handling complex medication regimens.
- Strong skills in client communication, medical documentation, and health education delivery.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR is required; additional certifications such as blood sampling or emergency response are advantageous.
- Experience working within plastic surgery, surgery units, or diagnostic radiology settings will be considered a plus.

Pay: $67.00 - $80.00 per hour
