Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Carpenter/Remodeler to oversee and execute residential kitchen and bath remodeling projects with precision and professionalism. In this role, you will manage project timelines, interpret construction plans, and ensure high-quality craftsmanship. Your expertise in framing, trim, cabinetry, flooring, minor plumbing and restoration work will drive successful project outcomes while maintaining safety standards and client satisfaction. Duties
- Lead and coordinate remodeling projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to construction plans and specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute project requirements.
- Supervise and mentor team members, assigning tasks such as framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, siding, plastering, caulking, door hanging, and fixture installation.
- Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols including power tool safety standards; conduct regular safety inspections on-site.
- Manage construction site logistics including heavy lifting, material staging, and site cleanup to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to interpret construction plans accurately and deliver exceptional results within scheduled timelines.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues during remodeling projects such as restoration challenges or unforeseen structural concerns.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential carpentry with a strong background in framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, flooring, and restoration industry work.
- Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and working with construction plans.
- Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team on complex remodeling projects while maintaining high safety standards; prior supervisory or lead roles preferred.
- Familiarity with plastering techniques, caulking applications, and fixture installation (doors, cabinets)
- Construction site experience including managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Additional skills such as handyman experience or metal stud framing expertise are advantageous; certification in power tool safety is preferred.

Pay: $22.00 - $33.00 per hour
