Lakeview Inn is under new ownership, and we're excited to build something different.
Our goal is to create a welcoming, dependable hotel where every guest feels comfortable, respected, and at home. Whether someone is visiting family, traveling for work, or simply passing through town, we believe every stay should be met with friendly service and genuine hospitality.
As our AM/PM Receptionist, you'll play one of the most important roles in creating that experience. You will be the first person many guests meet and often the last person they see before the end of their stay. Your professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail help shape every guest's impression of our hotel.
While you'll primarily oversee the front desk and lobby during your shift, you'll never be left without support. Our management team is always available to answer questions and help whenever needed.

Duties
Guest Services
- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
- Check guests in and out efficiently
- Take reservations by phone and in person
- Answer guest questions and provide helpful information about the hotel and local area
- Handle incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
Front Desk Operations
- Maintain accurate guest information and reservations
- Process payments and complete basic front desk transactions
- Monitor the lobby and front desk throughout your shift
- Communicate important information to management and fellow team members
Housekeeping Support
- Fold and organize clean laundry
- Assist with light laundry duties as needed
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby area
Safety & Professionalism
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for guests and staff
- Report maintenance, safety, or security concerns promptly
- Follow hotel policies and procedures while representing the hotel in a professional manner
Qualifications
Experience
- No previous hotel experience is required.
- This is an excellent entry-level opportunity, and training will be provided.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Preferred Skills
- Basic computer and typing skills
- Comfortable learning new software and procedures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to comfortably lift up to 15 pounds
- Must be available to work the listed AM/PM schedule
