Proventure is seeking a detail-oriented Director of Accounting to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in various accounting disciplines, including GAAP and regulatory reporting, with a strong background in corporate accounting. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to complex financial & management processes, oversee compliance standards and support strategic financial initiatives within a dynamic and growing organization. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing account reconciliations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 7 years + of professional accounting experience in hospitality hotel/casino.
- 4 years + of supervisory/management experience leading accounting/finance teams
- Proven expertise in GAAP principles and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Extensive experience with ERP accounting software such as SAP, Blackline, Infinium or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including amortization schedules, accruals, cost accounting, account reconciliation, and balance sheet management.
- Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis and prepare comprehensive financial reports.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial forecasting techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, including month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of account balances.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions with precision and timeliness.
- Build, mentor, and develop the accounting team to achieve organizational goals.
- Support budgeting processes and assist in financial forecasting activities and metrics.
- Produce detailed financial reports for internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate and assist with internal and external audit stakeholders.
- Utilize accounting software such as Blackline and other financial management tools to streamline operations.
- Conduct technical accounting research related to complex transactions or new standards.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement.
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Compensation: $140,000.00 - $155,000 per year + benefits
