Warehouse/Operations ManagerPosition Summary

The Warehouse/Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, maintaining accurate inventory, coordinating purchasing and production builds, and ensuring efficient workflow throughout the facility. This role supports production, shipping, and receiving activities while maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and continuously identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle count reviews.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including researching count variances and correcting inventory records within our ERP system.
- Ensure inventory is properly labeled, organized, and easily traceable.
- Scrap inventory from completed assembly jobs monitored on a monthly basis.
Purchasing & Materials Management
- Purchase materials and supplies based on weekly purchasing requests.
- Monitor inventory of non-stock items, including packaging materials, office supplies, and other operational necessities, and replenish as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of required materials.
Production & Build Coordination
- Create weekly assembly builds based on production schedules for inventory.
- Create additional assembly builds as required to fulfill customer orders.
- Ensure all assembly builds are accurately documented and completed in a timely manner.
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient and organized operations.
- Assist with warehouse tasks during peak workloads, including:
- Pulling inventory for builds
- Receiving and checking in incoming materials
- Pulling and packing orders
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
Rental Equipment & Asset Management
- Monitor rental equipment calibration schedule.
- Monitor repair shop operations, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records, such as calibration history, maintenance, and repair documentation.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, and overall operational efficiency.
- Recommend and implement improvements that increase productivity and reduce waste.
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 standards by completing required documentation and ensuring proper product traceability.
- Verify warehouse processes meet company quality requirements and support audit readiness.
QualificationsRequired
- Experience in warehouse operations (3+ years required).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (SYSPRO or Odoo experience preferred).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with production, purchasing, and shipping.
- Pre-Employment drug screening.
Preferred
- Forklift certification.
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality management system.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift (70Lbs+) and move materials as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform warehouse duties throughout the workday.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
