Forklift Operator- Order Picker
The Forklift Operator position is responsible for all phases of assembling materials for customer orders, receiving new and returned product, and maintaining safety and quality standards within the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Safely load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, lift assist, and other power equipment in a fast-paced environment as well as lifting and palletizing 100 lb. Cartons
- Maintain all quality indicators for operations by verifying product quantity/quality before delivery
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
- Assists with physical inventories, cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation
- Stack and build pallets
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Assists in building and property maintenance as needed
- Perform all duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
- Offer suggestions for process improvements
- Work collaboratively with management and other associates
- Other duties as required and assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Forklift certification required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in warehouse/distribution
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Ability to operate in a high speed and fast-paced environment.
- Able to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor
- Must be able to demonstrate a positive attendance record and work overtime as needed
- Strong customer service skills
- High school education or GED required
- Must pass a Warehouse aptitude test to be taken later in this job application process including demonstration of fork lift experience
Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms.
- This position may be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch as it relates to product handling and distribution,and must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. This position may occasionally lift more than 100 pounds.
- This position will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and can be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
