Hyatt Farms Shooting Complex is seeking friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Range Safety Officers (RSOs). These positions play a vital role in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and smooth operation of our Rifle & Pistol Ranges, while providing top-tier customer service.
This is a hands-on, team-based role that requires a strong commitment to safety, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help across all areas of the facility — from supervising shooters to mowing the grass.

Key ResponsibilitiesRange Safety & Supervision
- Monitor guests at the firing line to ensure safe firearm handling and strict adherence to all range rules and SOPs.
- Provide clear, calm instructions and corrections to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Assist customers with lane and target operations.
- Understand and execute emergency response plans as needed.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and remove brass, lead, and debris from bays.
- Coordinate range waste pickup and restock supplies like backers, uprights, targets, and sandbags.
Customer Service & Guest Interaction
- Greet customers with a professional and welcoming attitude.
- Educate shooters on range safety, etiquette, and equipment use.
- Respond promptly and professionally to questions, concerns, or incidents.
- Assist in executing special events, training classes, and competitions.
Maintenance & Groundskeeping
- Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of ranges and common areas.
- Handle landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, weedeating, and bush hogging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing facility for all guests.
Teamwork & Facility Support
- Collaborate with fellow staff and management to uphold Hyatt Farms' standards.
- Step in where needed — whether checking in customers, supporting events, or maintaining equipment.
- Foster a community-first environment where safety and service go hand-in-hand.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Knowledge of firearms and firearm safety required; RSO certification (NRA or equivalent) preferred
- Previous experience as an RSO, in hospitality, or customer-facing roles preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks regularly
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills
- Calm and professional demeanor, especially under pressure
- Willingness to learn, pitch in, and be a dependable part of a team

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
