A major regional retailer, is seeking a Marketing Project and Event Coordinator. This position is multi-faceted with both project management and event management responsibilities and will be accountable for keeping the “day to day” process/projects. The position’s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Remote work is not available. All considered candidates must be able to commute to our local office in Northeast Philadelphia.

Job Description
- Support day-to-day coordination of marketing projects across multiple brands by tracking tasks, deadlines, and deliverables
- Assist with campaign and brand launches by keeping schedules, assets, and action items organized
- Support the end-to-end planning, execution, and production of events
- Coordinate all event logistics
- Maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, run-of-shows, and event documentation.
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to the marketing team as needed
- Preparing written content, managing communication with external vendors
- Create and manage organic and paid social, video, and email campaigns to drive engagement and brand growth
- Actively participate in internal brainstorming sessions by offering ideas for each project
- Coordinate with the VP of Marketing, to provide creative department personnel with well-documented input, support data (if needed) and production materials as required; ensures that strategies are clearly defined, approved by all levels of management, and understood by the creative team.
- Act as primary liaison between Marketing department and outside vendors, including agency, print, fulfillment, and promotional items.
- Create and manage project plans and timelines for all marketing activities
- Coordinate Marketing Briefs
- Set up, schedule, and manage the Marketing Calendar
- Communicate marketing initiatives to internal personnel
- Plan and coordinate meetings, communication, and day-to-day activities
- Consistently meet project deadlines as set by VP of Marketing
- Coordinates quotations with vendors.
- Secures budget updates/cost quotations as needed
- Checks and pre-approves copy, design, and production art, and coordinates from management team.
- Coordinates project timing and budgets with all relevant personnel.
- Communicating all creative changes and updates to Creative departments
Required Skills and Experience
- 2 years of experience in marketing, or a coordination role, internships count
- Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple deadlines without dropping the ball
- Clear, professional communicator who keeps others informed and asks questions when uncertain
- Comfortable working within defined processes and taking direction from senior team members
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to grow
- Experience with design/video editing tools: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Cappcut or similar
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
