Schedule: Monday-Friday | 12:30 PM-4:30 PM (approximately 20-25 guaranteed hours per week with opportunities for additional hours)
Description
An absolutely wonderful family in Littleton is seeking a nurturing, dependable Part-Time Nanny / Family Assistant to support their two wonderful children and help keep their household running smoothly.
Their oldest child, a sweet 5-year-old girl, will be attending full-day kindergarten, while their energetic 3-year-old son will be home during the afternoons. Both children have developmental and physical delays, but they are happy, engaging, and incredibly rewarding to work with. The family is happy to train the right nanny.
Responsibilities
- Providing attentive, engaging afternoon care for the children
- School pickup (if needed) and accompanying the children to activities or appointments
- Supporting therapy goals through play and everyday routines
- Planning developmentally appropriate activities, music, sensory play, outdoor adventures, and community outings
- Preparing children's meals
- Children's laundry
- Light household assistance during nap time, including folding laundry, loading/unloading the dishwasher, light meal prep, wiping counters, mopping high-traffic areas, and helping keep the home tidy
- Collaborating closely with parents and maintaining open communication
Requirements
- Minimum two years of professional nanny experience in a private household
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Fluent in English
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable vehicle with proof of insurance
- Comfortable with a dog in the home
- Up-to-date on general vaccines such as TDAP, MMR, and COVID
