Courier Driver
A Courier Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate pickup and delivery of packages, documents, and other items to customers and businesses. Duties include loading and unloading deliveries, planning efficient delivery routes, maintaining delivery records, and ensuring excellent customer service during all interactions. The Courier Driver must follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures while operating a company or personal vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver packages in a timely and professional manner.
- Verify delivery information and obtain signatures when required.
- Load, unload, and secure items to prevent damage during transport.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure safe operation.
- Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status.
- Follow assigned routes while adjusting for traffic and weather conditions.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service.
Qualifications:
- Valid type-C driver's license.
- Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages as required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not required.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
