This position is ideal for individuals seeking part-time work with a limited number of hours each week. It’s a great fit for someone looking to supplement their schedule with a few consistent hours, rather than full- or part-time employment.
- Available to work during the specified hours (Monday–Thursday).
- Must be reliable, patient, and experienced in caring for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.

Work Schedule (Important – All Sessions Required):
Please note that availability during all listed time blocks is required and non-negotiable, as childcare services are needed for classes held during these specific hours.
Schedule:
Mondays (TBD): 9:45 AM – 12:15 PM and 4:45 PM – 7:15 PM (both sessions required). Monday hours are subject to class and program demand and may be adjusted based on enrollment and operational needs.
Tuesdays and Thursdays (set schedule):
Morning Shift: 9:15 AM – 11:15 AM
Evening Shift: 5:45 PM – 7:45 PM
Additional shifts may occasionally be needed based on demand. If extra hours become available, staff will be notified and can indicate if they are available to work extra hours.
Estimated Total Hours: Approximately 10 hours weekly. If other duties or additional shifts are included, weekly hours could be slightly higher.
Note: Availability for these days is non-negotiable, as childcare is required based on class demand and the needs of the parents we serve.
Key Responsibilities:General:
- Participate in games and activities with the children.
- Provide parents with relevant information about their child’s care.
- Maintain accurate attendance records.
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Set appropriate boundaries and expectations with children to foster positive behavior.
- Recommend or implement measures to address behavioral concerns.
Specific:
- Childcare workers are responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of children while parents/guardians participate in classes.
- Provide care with patience, affirmation, and attention.
- Engage children in activities, such as small artwork projects or other creative activities during class sessions.
- Provide peace of mind to parents by assuring them their children are in good hands.

- High school diploma.
- Ability to work flexible hours.

The role may be renewed each semester based on program needs and performance. Because we invest significant time in the interview and onboarding process, applicants are expected to carefully review the schedule and confirm their full availability for the duration of the semester prior to applying.
Job Type: Part-time (limited weekly hours during the scheduled class times listed above).
Our class schedule is established in advance to best serve our students and families. As a result, the workdays and class times for this position are fixed and cannot be adjusted.
