Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Salary: $65,000–$75,000 annually (based on experience)
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy industrial equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, forging, or heavy industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on heavy industrial machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment wear, malfunctions, or safety concerns.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and document repair activities.
- Manage maintenance tools, spare parts inventory, and equipment supplies.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to maximize operational performance and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience performing machinery repair, industrial equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing, forging, or heavy industrial environment.
- Strong electrical experience working with 24 VDC to 480 VAC three-phase systems, including diagnosing and repairing electrical components, wiring, and circuitry.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and maintenance best practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized maintenance equipment.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school training or maintenance certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLC controls, including Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens Step 7 systems.
- Experience working with refractory systems and ceramic fiber modules.
- Background in forging operations, heat-treat equipment, or heavy industrial manufacturing environments.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Must be able to pass a full-panel drug screening.
