Responsibilities

- Utilize basic math skills to process transactions accurately at the cash register.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively upsell items.
- Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and visually appealing.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math proficiency for handling transactions and retail math calculations.
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos that highlight key features and benefits.
- Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Supervisory skills to assist in training new associates and managing team dynamics.
