Overview
Our growing mental health group practice is seeking a part-time professional to expand our community footprint, nurture local referral networks, and manage our digital presence. You will bridge the gap between digital storytelling and physical community engagement to help prospective clients find our care.
Responsibilities
- Local Referral Outreach: Identify, contact, and build relationships with local doctors, school guidance counselors, HR managers, and allied wellness professionals.
- Event Coordination: Help to organize and facilitate local workshops, open houses, or community mental health presentations (both virtual and in-person).
- Content & Social Media: Create, schedule, and publish content (blogs, newsletters, and social media posts) that highlights our therapists' specialties.
- Local SEO & Listings: Keep our Google Business Profile active and updated with fresh updates, FAQs, and posts to capture local search traffic.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years in marketing, community outreach, or public relations (healthcare or wellness industry preferred).
- Compliance Knowledge: Clear understanding of HIPAA compliance, confidentiality laws, and ethical boundaries regarding mental health marketing.
- Skills: Proficiency with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later), email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), and basic design software (e.g., Canva).
- Traits: High emotional intelligence, warm communication style, and strong self-direction.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to reach broader community segments.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively within the greater community.
- Knowledge of and passion for mental health and therapeutic work.
- Familiarity with data collection tools for tracking engagement metrics and campaign performance.

Boston Expressive Arts Therapy Services (BEATS) is a therapeutic private practice located in East Arlington, offering individual and group therapy rooted in expressive arts and other embodied, trauma-informed modalities. We offer community-centered events, workshops, and classes in movement, art, and mindfulness, as well as educational opportunities.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
