Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, values safety, and works well in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Repair and troubleshoot production equipment as needed.
- Operate surface grinding equipment and perform die grinding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
- Assist with welding, plumbing, electrical, and other maintenance tasks.
- Respond to emergency equipment repairs.
- Help train new employees when needed.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with welding, lathes, milling machines, or CNC equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a tool or manufacturing environment.
- Electrician, plumber, or CAD certification.
- Valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
