Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our production team in Miamisburg. In this role, you will work with precision components to assemble high-technology optical and electronic systems—including night-vision equipment, blue laser assemblies, and specialized micro-electronics.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with high manual dexterity, cleanroom or microscopic assembly experience, and a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Micro-Assembly: Assemble, build, and integrate small, delicate electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies using specialized handheld tools, custom fixtures, and microscopes.
- Precision Inspection: Inspect finished components against precise engineering specifications and blueprints using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and optical inspection tools.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain strict adherence to zero-defect quality standards; immediately identify, document, and escalate any non-conforming parts or process errors to shift supervisors.
- Cleanroom Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized work environment in accordance with facility contamination protocols and safety guidelines.
- Logistics & Staging: Sort, label, and transfer finished goods to downstream inspection or shipping stages.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with assembly stations processes and techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting and assembly tasks.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
